I drew this picture of Brinley for my friend Jenessa for her birthday. It doesn't look exactly like the picture but I haven't drawn with pastels since high school so I am pretty excited about how it turned out! Happy Birthday friend!

I drew this picture for Alix before she was born. Jeremy wanted me to draw a pig sleeping in a field of wildflowers for Alix's bedroom because we did a farm animal theme

This is my most recent drawing, it is my nephew Kelson. I was going to give it to Amoree for Christmas, didn't quite get done on time but at least I finally finished it!

my artwork

Two years ago, before Jeremy and I got married, Jer built me a website. I wanted to set up my own business and sell my artwork. Our idea was for people to submit pictures to me and I would draw them. We called it My Charcoal Memories since I do most of my drawings in charcoal. Well, the website was pretty cool but it never went anywhere. It was probably a  good thing since I was really busy after we got married with work and school. I am still hoping one day that this idea of ours will work out so I can work from home, I guess we'll have to see! I decided to make a new blog with all of my artwork and maybe I'll be able to get things going! And even if nothing comes of this new blog, maybe you will at least enjoy my artwork!I'll post some of the stuff I have been working on recently and older stuff as well. I am definitely not the world's greatest artist, but I love drawing-especially for other people!

I was never very good at color but recently Jeremy encouraged me to give it another try so here are my first three flowers in color
